Privacy Policy

FarmaSyn SA (hereinafter the “Company”) fully recognizes the necessity of ensuring the privacy and safety of the personal data of visitors/users of its website and therefore takes all necessary actions to achieve these goals.

This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use of the website.  This Privacy Policy clearly describes the types of personal data of visitors/users that may be collected by the Company when they enter /use the website.

In particular, the ways and purposes for which users’ personal data may be used, processed and stored will always be described in compliance with the current personal data protection law and in particular in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), as well as the Greek implementing law 4624/2019.  In the event that any user does not agree with these conditions, he must not complete the Company’s contact form, otherwise by completing the form and accepting the relevant declaration of consent that appears after the contact form and before submitting the data to the Company, he/she expressly and specifically declares that he/she agrees with this Privacy Policy.  This Privacy Policy does not under any circumstances cover the relationship between visitors/users of this website and any services that are not under its control and/or ownership.

User’s Personal Data

The visitor/user can visit the website maintained and managed by the Company, without revealing his/her identity and without providing any personal information.  If and when you wish to contact the Company, you will be able to enter your requested personal data in specific areas of this website, by completing the relevant Contact Form.

When using this Company website, the latter may legally collect from its users’ personal data that fall into these categories:

  • Personal data which the user (natural person) is asked to fill in when filling out the Contact Form, in order to contact the Company. In particular, to complete the above contact form, the following personal data are required:  Full name (mandatory), email address (mandatory) and any data included by the user in the “subject” field as well as in the message to be sent to the contact link.
  • Personal data which the visitor/user is asked to fill in in the “career” field, in order to submit his CV, if he wishes to have his skills examined for inclusion in the human resources. Specifically, when completing the relevant fields of the CV form, the visitor/user must enter the following data:  Name, email, contact telephone number, education level (choose from the relevant fields), foreign languages (choose from the relevant fields), previous experience (choose from the relevant fields) and must attach the relevant CV file.
  • The Company also uses the “Google Analytics” service, to collect additional information about the user’s behaviour within its software, including the time the user spent in the website and its various functions as well as the recording of the use of some of these functions. However, based on the applicable personal data law this information does not constitute personal data of the users of the application.

Use of personal data

The Company is responsible for the protection of the personal data it collects through this website, as well as for informing all of its involved personnel about the Privacy Policy.

The Company guarantees that all of its staff as well as all of its members-partners will faithfully implement this Policy and will comply with the current personal data protection law.

Specifically, the Company keeps a record of the above-mentioned personal data of each user, in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679, GDPR), as well as the Greek implementing law 4624/2019.  In accordance with the below mentioned, the data that the visitor/user has entered in the website and that are saved in the Company Server are those submitted by the user himself /herself (Subject) with his/her express consent when he/she filled in the relevant contact form or submitted a request on the website.

The submission of the requested personal data is done voluntarily by users and the personal data collected by the Company serve the purpose to determine their identity in order for the Company to communicate and interact with them on an as-needed basis.  The Company undertakes not to process, publish or transmit the personal data of its users which it legally collects in any other way or for any other purpose.  In particular, the disclosure of personal data, such as the name of the users is done for the purpose of determining their exact identity, while their email and contact telephone number are collected in order for the Company to be able to communicate and interact with them, in case it needs to submit a question, request to schedule a meeting, respond to a complaint or a report. Furthermore, the personal data of people interested to join the Company’s staff are processed exclusively in order to be evaluated and find out whether a professional cooperation would be possible and to schedule a relevant interview with them.

Information we share

The Company does not trade, share, transmit or distribute, in any way whatsoever, the personal data of the users of the website to third parties outside the Company. Transfer of personal data to third parties is exceptionally permitted only when required by law or following a judicial or prosecutorial order.

User Rights

Providing the above information is optional.  Failure to provide data and/or refusal to consent to the terms of data processing, results in the inability to collect your data and carry out the processing to achieve the aforementioned objectives.

The user retains his/her right:

  1. a) to receive a written answer to his/her question to the Company, if personal data concerning him/her is or has been the subject of processing,
  2. b) to receive new information without delay and in an understandable and clear manner, about all the data concerning him, their origin, the purpose of the processing, the recipients or the recipient categories, the progress of the processing since the previous time they were updated or informed them as well as the rationale of the automated processing,
  3. c) to request the correction, deletion or blocking (locking) of any data the processing of which does not comply with the provisions of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in particular if the data are incomplete or inaccurate and to notify third parties of the above correction, deletion or blocking if this is not impossible or does not require disproportionate efforts, or if the reason for processing the data is no longer available or the subjects withdraw their consent (in case this is necessary), or when the data were subjected to illegal processing, etc. subjects have the right to request the deletion of data,
  4. d) to withdraw their consent at any time,
  5. e) to submit an objection at any time to the Data Controller regarding the processing of his/her data, to submit a request to restrict processing, to know the identity of the data controllers and his/her representative,
  6. f) in case of unfair processing of his personal data to submit a complaint to the competent supervisory authority,
  7. g) to request the portability of his personal data as laid out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.

Exception Procedure

Any user reserves the right to request the Company to delete all the information it holds about him, by communicating his request to the following email address:  privacy@farmasyn.gr.

Finally, the user can opt out of Google Analytics data collection using cookies by modifying his personal Google Ads Settings.

Duration of the Processing

Personal data collected from users will be stored and retained by the Company for as long as is necessary to complete the purpose for which it was collected, which in any case will be reasonable.

Changes

Our privacy policy may change from time to time.  Any change to the Privacy Policy of the website will be published on this website.
